About the Role
Dream Park Montessori School is a reputable Islamic-centered citadel of learning located in the vibrant area of Surulere, Lagos State, Nigeria. We are currently seeking a dedicated and safety-conscious Bus Driver to join our dynamic transport team and ensure our students experience smooth and secure daily commutes.
Key Responsibilities- Safely transport students to and from school and school-approved events along designated routes.
- Perform routine pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to check fuel, oil, tire pressure, and mechanical conditions.
- Adhere strictly to all Nigerian traffic laws, road safety regulations, and school transport policies.
- Maintain discipline and ensure proper student behavior while inside the school bus.
- Keep the interior and exterior of the school bus clean, tidy, and well-maintained at all times.
- Promptly report any mechanical faults, traffic incidents, or delays to school management.
- Minimum of SSCE or equivalent educational qualification.
- Valid professional Nigerian driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Proven working experience as a bus driver, preferably within a school or educational setting.
- Sound knowledge of Lagos roads, particularly Surulere and surrounding areas.
- Excellent defensive driving skills with a strong commitment to passenger safety.
- Good communication skills, patience, and a friendly attitude when interacting with children and parents.
