About the Role
Efficacy Construction Company is a premier real estate and building construction firm dedicated to delivering exceptional residential and commercial projects. We are currently seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Builder to join our expanding team in Victoria Island, Lagos. In this role, you will be instrumental in bridging architectural designs with physical execution, ensuring every project meets our rigorous standards of excellence, safety, and aesthetic appeal.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and oversee all interior and exterior finishing works for assigned construction projects.
- Interpret architectural plans, blueprints, and specifications to ensure strict compliance with building codes and regulations.
- Inspect incoming construction materials, conduct thorough quality checks, and document any defects or deviations.
- Implement and maintain robust quality management systems throughout the project lifecycle.
- Collaborate effectively with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and site workers to ensure seamless project execution.
- Coordinate material testing and ensure that all supplied items adhere to specified quality benchmarks.
- Monitor daily project progress, mitigate potential bottlenecks, and ensure completion within established budgets and timelines.
- Enforce strict health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards to maintain a clean and hazard-free work site.
- Minimum of an HND or B.Sc in Building Technology or a related field.
- Professional certification as a Builder will be a distinct advantage.
- At least 5 years of proven experience in managing large-scale building projects, with a strong focus on the finishing stage.
- Comprehensive knowledge of modern construction procedures, materials, and specialized tools.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting complex blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications.
- Exceptional time management, organizational, and on-site planning skills.
- Strong understanding of local HSE regulations and safety compliance.
