About the Role
Emzor Pharmaceutical Industries Limited, a leading indigenous pharmaceutical manufacturing company in Nigeria, is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Engineering Storekeeper to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the seamless operation of our manufacturing plants by efficiently managing engineering store inventory, tracking spare parts, and minimizing equipment downtime.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain accurate digital and physical records of all engineering spare parts, tools, and maintenance materials received, stored, and issued.
- Monitor engineering inventory levels and usage trends to establish optimal reorder points and prevent costly stock-outs.
- Conduct routine physical stock counts and reconcile discrepancies with system records to ensure total inventory accuracy.
- Organize and optimize the engineering store layout for proper identification, preservation, and rapid retrieval of critical components.
- Collaborate closely with the Engineering Manager to forecast maintenance material needs and expedite urgent purchase requests.
- Identify damaged, obsolete, or slow-moving stock and report them according to company guidelines.
- Ensure strict compliance with internal inventory control policies and workplace safety regulations.
- Minimum of WASCE/SSCE or an Ordinary National Diploma (OND) in a relevant discipline.
- 1 to 3 years of proven experience in stores management, inventory control, or a similar logistics role.
- Prior experience handling engineering spare parts or technical manufacturing inventory is a distinct advantage.
- Strong numerical aptitude, exceptional attention to detail, and proficiency in basic computer applications.
