About the Role
Fact Base Consulting is recruiting on behalf of our esteemed client for a dedicated and skilled Broadcast Engineer to join their dynamic technical team in Nigeria. This role is ideal for a diligent professional who excels at ensuring the seamless operation of broadcast transmission, studio, audio, and video systems to minimize downtime and guarantee uninterrupted live and recorded broadcasts.
Key Responsibilities- Install, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot all broadcast equipment and technical systems efficiently.
- Ensure the continuous, reliable operation of studio, transmission, audio, and video infrastructure.
- Liaise proactively with external vendors and service providers regarding equipment repairs, servicing, and advanced technical support.
- Ensure strict compliance with all relevant electrical, technical, and national broadcast safety standards.
- Provide reliable technical support during live broadcasts, special productions, and scheduled studio programmes.
- Conduct regular routine maintenance, calibration, and preventive checks on all broadcast hardware and software.
- Monitor active broadcast systems continuously to minimize downtime and maintain flawless transmission quality.
- Bachelor's Degree or HND in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a closely related technical field.
- Minimum of three years of proven, relevant experience working in a dedicated broadcast engineering or technical role.
- Strong practical knowledge of modern broadcast equipment, digital systems, and emerging industry technologies.
- Demonstrated proficiency in ICT, electronics, and electrical troubleshooting.
