Key Responsibilities- Operate jackhammers, pneumatic breakers, and similar heavy construction equipment safely and efficiently on job sites.
- Break up concrete, asphalt, rock, and other hard surfaces in preparation for engineering and construction projects.
- Perform daily pre-operation inspections and routine maintenance on assigned tools and machinery.
- Adhere strictly to site safety guidelines, environmental policies, and company operational standards.
- Coordinate effectively with site supervisors, project managers, and fellow construction crew members to meet project deadlines.
- Proven professional experience working as a Breaker Operator or operating heavy construction equipment such as jackhammers.
- Thorough knowledge of the safe handling, maintenance, and operation of heavy construction tools.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety regulations and hazard identification on engineering sites.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions across Nigeria.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
