About the Role
Fadac Resources is a leading human capital solutions provider dedicated to helping businesses achieve sustainable growth through expert talent and financial management. We are currently seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Boutique Finance Controller to act as the primary financial business partner for our client's retail boutiques. In this critical role, you will bridge the gap between Head Office Finance and boutique operations, ensuring rigorous financial oversight across sales, cash flow, and inventory.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor daily boutique sales, financial performance, and operational metrics.
- Review cash collections, bank deposits, and daily payment reconciliations.
- Reconcile sales transactions seamlessly against POS and core financial systems.
- Monitor boutique inventory levels and rigorously investigate stock variances.
- Review and approve discounts, refunds, returns, and special pricing adjustments.
- Ensure strict compliance with internal financial controls and standard operating procedures.
- Conduct periodic boutique audits and comprehensive control reviews.
- Prepare insightful financial and operational performance reports for senior management.
- Identify potential financial risks and operational control weaknesses.
- Partner closely with boutique managers to drive profitability and improve financial performance.
- Support annual budgeting, rolling forecasting, and detailed variance analysis.
- Ensure timely and accurate resolution of all financial discrepancies.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
- Professional accounting qualification such as ACA, ACCA, or CIMA is preferred.
- Minimum of 8 years of progressive finance experience, ideally within the retail or multi-location sector in Nigeria.
- Demonstrated expertise in financial reconciliations, internal controls, and reporting.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and modern ERP or POS systems.
