About the Role
Christian Miracle Hospital, an NHIS-accredited specialist healthcare institution established in 1992, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Midwife to join our compassionate medical team in Enugu. Located in the upscale neighborhood of Independence Layout, we are renowned for delivering top-tier gynaecological, fertility, and maternity services. Key Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal care to expectant mothers and newborns.
- Monitor vital signs of patients, manage labor and delivery procedures, and recognize potential complications early.
- Administer medications, treatments, and vaccinations as prescribed by medical doctors.
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in line with hospital standards and NHIS guidelines.
- Educate expectant parents on prenatal care, nutrition, breastfeeding, and infant care.
- Collaborate effectively with doctors, laboratory scientists, and other healthcare staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Must be a born-again Christian with high moral standards and professional integrity.
- Registered Midwife (RM) with a valid practicing license from the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN).
- Minimum of 2-5 years of hands-on midwifery experience in a reputable hospital or maternity setting.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and empathetic patient care skills.
- Ability to work calmly under pressure and manage emergency obstetric situations efficiently.
