Key Responsibilities- Perform a wide range of complex laboratory tests and analyses in hematology, chemical pathology, medical microbiology, and histopathology.
- Ensure accuracy and reliability of diagnostic results through rigorous quality control procedures.
- Maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment and instruments regularly.
- Manage inventory of laboratory reagents, supplies, and specimen collection materials.
- Collaborate closely with physicians, researchers, and other healthcare professionals to support patient diagnosis and treatment plans.
- Maintain detailed and confidential patient records in compliance with institutional standards and medical ethics.
- Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Science (BMLS) degree or equivalent registrable qualification.
- Valid practicing license and current registration with the Medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria (MLSCN).
- Successful completion of the mandatory one-year professional internship program.
- Strong computer literacy and proficiency in using laboratory information systems (LIS) and general ICT tools.
- Excellent attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and effective communication abilities.
