About the Role
PZ Cussons Nigeria Plc, a leading multinational consumer goods company, is looking for a dedicated and results-driven Electrical Boiler Technician to join our dynamic site services team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the seamless operation of our manufacturing facilities by maintaining power generation, substations, boilers, and auxiliary plant equipment with a strong focus on safety and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine and emergency maintenance on gas generators, diesel generators, air compressors, and boilers with zero unnecessary downtime.
- Conduct Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) on substation transformers, breakers, and tripping units to guarantee reliable power distribution.
- Prepare comprehensive weekly and monthly energy reports, KPI trackers, and equipment status reports for management.
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain plant equipment, fire hydrant systems, and energy meters across all substations.
- Inspect and prepare all generators for optimal operation while maintaining adequate spare parts inventory.
- Ensure active participation in group audit checklists and maintain a safe, compliant working environment.
- Minimum of an Ordinary National Diploma (OND), Higher National Diploma (HND), or Bachelor's Degree (BSc) in Electrical Engineering or related engineering disciplines.
- At least 2 years of hands-on technical experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Access) for reporting and data analysis.
