About the Role
Noble Guide Academy, a premier faith-based co-educational institution with over 15 years of excellence in Abuja, is seeking a dedicated and qualified Biology Teacher to join our dynamic Secondary School team. In this role, you will inspire students, foster a stimulating learning environment, and uphold our commitment to academic achievement and moral growth within the Muslim community.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and comprehensive theoretical and practical Biology lessons aligned with the approved curriculum.
- Prepare secondary school students thoroughly for internal examinations as well as key external examinations.
- Conduct structured laboratory practical sessions to reinforce scientific concepts and encourage critical thinking.
- Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of students regularly.
- Maintain effective classroom management and create a positive, inclusive atmosphere conducive to learning.
- Collaborate with colleagues and communicate professionally with parents regarding student progress and welfare.
- Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Biology, Education/Biology, or a closely related field.
- A Post Graduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) or equivalent teaching certification is a strong advantage.
- At least 2 years of proven secondary school teaching experience.
- Prior experience teaching within a Cambridge Associate School will be considered a significant advantage.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with strong digital literacy.
