We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and qualified Biology Teacher to join our dynamic academic team. In this role, you will inspire secondary and advanced-level students by delivering innovative, practical, and comprehensive biology lessons that cultivate a deep understanding of the life sciences.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and structured biology lessons in accordance with the school curriculum.
- Integrate modern ICT tools and digital resources into classroom instruction to enhance student engagement.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and individualized support.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively to create a conducive, safe, and inclusive learning environment.
- Participate in departmental meetings, school events, and professional development programs.
- Prepare students adequately for internal examinations as well as relevant external assessments.
- Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) or Master of Science (M.Sc) in Biology, Science Education, or a related discipline.
- Possession of a Post Graduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) or equivalent teaching certification is an added advantage.
- 2 to 3 years of proven teaching experience in a reputable secondary or advanced-level educational institution.
- Strong passion for teaching with excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
