About the Role
The Lamb Academy is a newly established, prestigious educational institution located along Lotto/Shimawa Road, Mowe. We are currently looking for a passionate Biology Teacher to join our dynamic academic team and inspire the next generation of scientific minds.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging, high-quality Biology lessons to students using innovative pedagogical approaches.
- Utilize Information and Communication Technology (ICT) effectively to enhance classroom instruction and remote learning capabilities.
- Prepare students thoroughly for local and international examinations, leveraging knowledge of curricula such as the IGCSE.
- Manage classroom behavior, assess student progress, and provide constructive feedback to support academic growth.
- Collaborate with colleagues in the science department to maintain well-equipped laboratories and design practical experiments.
- Participate in extracurricular activities, school events, and professional development programs.
- Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Education with a specialization in Biology or a relevant subject, from a reputable institution.
- Possession of a Postgraduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) or a Master's Degree will be a strong added advantage.
- Must be a registered member of the Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN).
- Minimum of five (5) years of relevant post-qualification teaching experience within an international school setting.
- Proficiency in integrating ICT tools into daily lesson delivery.
- Familiarity with the IGCSE curriculum is highly desirable.
