Key Responsibilities- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Biology and Basic Science lessons in accordance with the approved school curriculum.
- Create a vibrant, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages student participation and critical thinking.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and maintaining accurate academic records.
- Design and supervise practical laboratory sessions to enhance students' hands-on scientific understanding.
- Mentor students academically and morally, fostering discipline, integrity, and a passion for learning.
- Collaborate with colleagues and participate in departmental meetings, school events, and professional development programs.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student performance and behavioral development.
- Applicants must possess a minimum qualification of a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.), Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.), or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Biology, Education, or a related scientific field.
- Proven prior experience teaching Biology and Basic Science in a reputable secondary school setting is a strong advantage.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.
