About the Role
Sterling Health HMO, a leading National Health Insurance Agency (NHIA)-accredited Health Maintenance Organization delivering quality healthcare services since 2007, is looking for dedicated Billing and Accounts Officers to strengthen our dynamic finance team.
Key Responsibilities- Manage daily hospital billing operations, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance.
- Process and review healthcare claims efficiently, ensuring accuracy and compliance with NHIA guidelines.
- Reconcile accounts, resolve billing discrepancies, and liaise with healthcare providers and corporate clients.
- Utilize Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and accounting software to generate financial reports.
- Assist in preparing periodic financial statements, audits, and budgeting activities.
- BSc or HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in financial accounting or healthcare billing.
- Prior working experience in Hospital Billing or Claims Administration is a distinct advantage.
- In-depth familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems.
- Partial or full ACA certification will be considered a strong advantage.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and modern accounting software.
