CWG Engineering Limited is a wholly employee-owned engineering consulting practice specializing in 3D Laser Scanning, Engineering and Design Services, Manpower Supply, and Project Management throughout Nigeria. We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Batching Plant Mechanic to join our growing team of professionals and ensure the seamless operation of our mechanical assets.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct routine preventive maintenance on batching plants, heavy machinery, and related industrial equipment to minimize operational downtime.
- Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic faults efficiently using advanced troubleshooting techniques.
- Repair or replace worn, damaged, or defective mechanical components such as conveyors, motors, gearboxes, and pumps.
- Perform regular inspections of plant equipment to ensure compliance with safety standards and operational efficiency.
- Maintain accurate maintenance logs, repair records, and inventory reports for spare parts and tools.
- Collaborate with site engineers and operations teams to resolve equipment issues promptly and effectively.
- Minimum of a Trade Test Certificate, OND, or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Technology, or a related field.
- Proven professional experience working as a Batching Plant Mechanic, Heavy Duty Mechanic, or Industrial Plant Technician.
- Strong hands-on expertise in diagnosing mechanical problems and repairing heavy machinery or industrial equipment.
- In-depth knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical control systems associated with concrete batching plants.
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical blueprints, technical manuals, and schematic diagrams.
- Strong problem-solving skills, physical stamina, and the ability to work effectively in fast-paced site environments.
