Key Responsibilities- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drink orders for guests according to standard recipes and measuring systems.
- Issue, open, and properly serve wine and champagne bottles with precision and elegance.
- Set up, maintain, and ensure the cleanliness and sanitary condition of the bar, bar units, tables, and surrounding equipment.
- Prepare fresh cocktail garnishes daily and maintain optimal stock levels of ice, glassware, and paper supplies.
- Transport inventory to the bar set-up area and wash soiled glassware promptly.
- Clear soiled wares from the bar top and tables, placing them in designated sanitation areas.
- Anticipate guest needs, communicate replenishment requirements effectively, and process all payment methods accurately.
- Manage the cash drawer at the end of the shift, complete cashier reports, resolve discrepancies, and secure daily receipts.
- Ensure the absolute security of all liquors, beers, wines, coolers, and storage areas.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety, security, and sanitation policies, reporting any hazards to management immediately.
- Maintain a clean, professional uniform and personal appearance while safeguarding guest confidentiality.
- Welcome and acknowledge guests warmly, anticipating their needs and delivering genuine, memorable service.
- Education: Minimum of a High School diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- Related Work Experience: At least 1 year of hands-on bartending experience in a reputable hotel, restaurant, or lounge setting.
- Communication: Excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to speak clearly and professionally.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods, and lift, carry, push, or pull objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
