About the Role
Ebekendy Hotel & Suites is a modern accommodation located at Plot 70, Graceland Road, Tombia Extension, GRA Phase 2 (opposite GreenOak School) in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, Nigeria. We are currently seeking a talented and charismatic Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere, preparing exceptional drinks, and providing top-tier customer service to all hotel guests and visitors. Key Responsibilities- Greet guests warmly and provide engaging, polite customer service at all times.
- Prepare and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar area throughout your shift.
- Take drink and food orders accurately from guests and lounge patrons.
- Handle cash and electronic transactions responsibly, operating the cash register with precision.
- Check identification of customers to verify legal drinking age when necessary.
- Comply with all food and beverage safety, health, and hygiene regulations.
- Relevant professional qualifications or certifications in hospitality or mixology.
- Proven working experience as a bartender in a hotel, lounge, or upscale bar setting.
- Must reside in or near GRA, Port Harcourt, for easy commute.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
