About the Role
We are a foremost 5-star hotel located in a serene and accessible area of Mushin, Lagos. Due to ongoing expansion, we are seeking experienced and passionate professionals to fill the roles of Barman, Barlady, Waiter, and Waitress. The ideal candidates will possess a keen eye for detail, exceptional customer service skills, and the ability to anticipate guest needs while maintaining a warm and friendly demeanor in a fast-paced luxury environment.
Key Responsibilities- Greet and escort guests to their tables, presenting menus and offering detailed recommendations regarding portions, ingredients, and dietary restrictions.
- Prepare tables by setting up clean linens, silverware, and glassware, while ensuring the dining area remains tidy and welcoming.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders, communicating specific details effectively to the kitchen and bar staff.
- Serve food and drinks promptly, and clear tables by removing dirty plates, glasses, and silverware to the kitchen.
- Prepare a variety of standard drinks, beers, mocktails, and cocktails while demonstrating basic knowledge of bar recipes.
- Up-sell additional hotel products and daily specials when appropriate to enhance guest satisfaction and revenue.
- Adhere strictly to all health, safety, and sanitation regulations across the bar and dining areas.
- Proven hospitality experience working as a bar attendant, waiter, or waitress in a reputable establishment.
- Basic knowledge of bar menu items, recipes, and the ability to craft standard mocktails and cocktails.
- Possess excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills.
- Must have the physical endurance to walk, carry trays, and stand for long hours during shifts.
- Residency within designated Lagos locations including Festac, Okota, Amuwo Odofin, Surulere, Mushin, Ojuelegba, or Isolo.
