About the Role
Singapore View Hotel and Suites, a premier hospitality destination located in the heart of Uruagu, Nnewi, Anambra State, is seeking a vibrant and customer-focused Barlady to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the face of our bar services, ensuring that every guest enjoys a memorable experience through prompt service, expertly crafted drinks, and a warm, inviting atmosphere. Key Responsibilities- Greet hotel guests and visitors warmly, presenting drink menus and taking accurate beverage orders.
- Prepare and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and hygiene practices.
- Maintain absolute cleanliness and organization of the bar counter, seating areas, glassware, and equipment.
- Manage bar inventory, monitor stock levels, and report replenishment needs to management promptly.
- Handle cash and electronic transactions accurately, operating the point-of-sale system efficiently.
- Ensure compliance with all local health, safety, and licensing regulations regarding alcohol service.
- Resolve guest complaints or inquiries professionally, escalating complex issues to the hotel manager when necessary.
- Minimum of an Ordinary National Diploma (OND) from a recognized institution.
- Prior experience working as a bartender, barlady, or in a similar hospitality role is an added advantage.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor.
- Strong basic math and cash handling abilities.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings.
- Residing in or willing to commute to Uruagu, Nnewi, Anambra State.
