About the Role
Mulligan Hotel, a premier establishment within a diversified Nigerian group of companies operating across retail, hospitality, and property sectors, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Bar Supervisor. In this role, you will lead our bar team to deliver exceptional beverage service, maintain rigorous quality standards, and create a welcoming, guest-focused atmosphere that aligns with our brand's commitment to excellence.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and coordinate daily bar operations and bar staff schedules to ensure efficient service delivery.
- Prepare and serve a wide range of cocktails and beverages according to established recipes and high presentation standards.
- Monitor inventory levels, manage stock, and coordinate the timely ordering of bar supplies.
- Enforce strict hygiene, safety, and sanitation policies in accordance with industry regulations.
- Train, mentor, and support bar staff to continuously improve service performance and product knowledge.
- Handle customer feedback and resolve issues professionally to ensure an outstanding guest experience.
- Drive sales growth by actively upselling drinks and promoting daily specials to patrons.
- Prepare and submit regular reports detailing bar performance, sales metrics, and inventory status.
- OND, HND, or BSc Degree in Hospitality Management or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of proven work experience in a supervisory bar role within the hospitality industry.
- Extensive knowledge of cocktail recipes, alcohol types, flavor profiles, and professional garnish techniques.
- Proficiency in operating bar equipment including shakers, blenders, and specialized tools.
- Outstanding communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills with a guest-first mindset.
