About the Role

We are currently seeking a dynamic and results-driven Bar Manager to join the team at the prestigious Sheraton Lagos Hotel. In this exciting role, you will oversee daily bar and lounge operations, manage inventory, promote lounge offerings, and lead a talented team to deliver unforgettable experiences for our local and international guests while maintaining profitability and strict compliance with legal and brand standards.
Key Responsibilities- Manage daily bar and lounge shift operations, supervising staff and assisting on the floor during peak periods to ensure flawless service delivery.
- Oversee beverage inventory, liquor controls, portion standards, and cost management in full compliance with Nigerian and international regulations.
- Assist in developing innovative beverage menus, promotional strategies, and driving sales growth within the lounge.
- Train, mentor, and supervise bar staff, ensuring clear communication of expectations, policies, and operational objectives.
- Interact directly with hotel guests to gather feedback, resolve complaints promptly, and guarantee exceptional customer satisfaction.
- Monitor departmental expenses, contribute to financial budgeting, and support payroll and operational reports.
- High school diploma or GED with a minimum of 4 years of professional experience in food and beverage, culinary, or hospitality management.
- Alternatively, a 2-year degree from an accredited university in Hospitality Management, Food Service, Business Administration, or a related field, with at least 2 years of relevant industry experience.
- Strong knowledge of beverage control systems, inventory management, and local liquor laws.
