About the Role
Tojum Hospitality, a premier hospitality management consultancy and recruitment firm, is seeking a talented and charismatic Bar Man on behalf of our esteemed client, Isaac Sam Lounge & Lodging Limited. Located along the vibrant Ring Road in Ibadan, Oyo State, the lounge offers a premium lodging and social experience. We are looking for a dedicated hospitality professional who excels in mixology, customer service, and maintaining a welcoming bar environment.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes.
- Welcome guests warmly, take accurate drink orders, and provide expert recommendations from the menu.
- Maintain a clean, sanitized, and well-organized bar counter, workspace, and seating area in compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Manage bar inventory, monitor stock levels, and communicate reordering needs promptly to management.
- Handle cash and electronic transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system.
- Ensure an engaging and pleasant atmosphere for all patrons while monitoring responsible drinking.
- Minimum of SSCE, NECO, or equivalent academic qualification.
- Proven professional experience working as a bartender or bar man in a reputable lounge, hotel, or bar.
- Extensive knowledge of mixing cocktails, beverages, and operating bar equipment.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Residing in or willing to commute to Ring Road, Ibadan, Oyo State.
