About the Role
Circa Non Pareil, a premier fine dining luxury restaurant located in the heart of Lekki Phase 1, Lagos, is seeking a hardworking and energetic Bar Back to join our elite team. In this role, you will work closely with our bartenders, supervisors, and bar managers to maintain the highest standards of luxury hospitality, ensuring our bar runs seamlessly during peak service hours.
Key Responsibilities- Assist bartenders with the preparation, setup, and smooth daily operation of the luxury bar.
- Ensure the bar is adequately stocked with premium beverages, ice, garnishes, glassware, and essential supplies.
- Replenish bottles, mixers, juices, and ingredients promptly as required during service.
- Collect, wash, polish, and properly organize used glassware and bar equipment.
- Maintain immaculate cleanliness and organization across the bar, storage areas, and refrigerators.
- Monitor stock levels meticulously and report low inventory to the bar supervisor.
- Prepare fresh garnishes and clear empty bottles, glasses, and waste from service areas efficiently.
- Adhere strictly to all food safety, hygiene, and workplace health standards.
- Minimum of SSCE/WAEC/NECO or an equivalent educational qualification.
- Previous experience as a Bar Back, Steward, Waiter, or similar hospitality role in a fine dining environment is a strong advantage.
- Physically fit with the stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy supplies.
- Exceptional teamwork, communication, and time-management skills.
- High attention to detail and a strong, reliable work ethic.
