About the Role

Led by Principal Consultant Mazi Collins Ugochukwu Nwangwu, we deliver tailored interventions that transform underperforming assets and scale high-growth hospitality brands. We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and dynamic Banquet and Event Coordinator to manage and execute exceptional client events.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, coordinate, and execute all aspects of banquets, corporate meetings, weddings, and special events from conception to completion.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring their expectations are exceeded through proactive communication and personalized service.
- Collaborate closely with the culinary, F&B, and housekeeping departments to guarantee seamless event operations and superior guest satisfaction.
- Manage event timelines, floor plans, AV requirements, and setup specifications with meticulous attention to detail.
- Prepare comprehensive event orders, manage guest counts, and oversee billing reconciliation post-event.
- Train, supervise, and mentor front-of-house banquet staff to maintain the highest standards of hospitality service.
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 to 4 years of proven experience in event coordination or banquet operations within a reputable hotel or hospitality setting.
- Exceptional organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving abilities under pressure.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills with a polished professional demeanor.
- Proficiency in event management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, evenings, and holidays as required by event schedules.
