About the Role
Enugu Air Limited is a rapidly expanding, state-owned airline established by the Enugu State Government under the leadership of Governor Peter Mbah. Serving as a key economic catalyst, our carrier is transforming Enugu into a premier regional logistics hub and a global investment destination. We are currently seeking a highly responsible, vigilant, and experienced Aviation Security Supervisor to oversee security activities and ensure strict compliance with applicable aviation security requirements across our stations.
In this vital role, the successful candidate will supervise security personnel, monitor procedures, identify potential security risks, and ensure that robust measures are in place to safeguard passengers, staff, aircraft, facilities, and company assets.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and coordinate aviation security personnel and daily security activities at the station.
- Ensure strict compliance with approved aviation security policies, procedures, and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Monitor access control to restricted and operational areas to prevent unauthorized entry.
- Conduct regular security inspections and identify potential security vulnerabilities.
- Ensure effective screening and security procedures are meticulously followed by relevant personnel.
- Monitor passenger, baggage, cargo, aircraft, and staff security processes as applicable.
- Coordinate with airport security agencies, relevant government authorities, and other stakeholders on security matters.
- Respond promptly to security incidents, suspicious activities, threats, and emergencies.
- Prepare and submit detailed security incident reports and other required security documentation.
- Bachelor's degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) minimum.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in aviation security, airport security, corporate security, or a related security environment.
- Previous supervisory experience is required; experience working within an airline or airport environment is highly desirable.
- Relevant aviation security training or certification will be an added advantage.
- Strong knowledge of aviation security procedures, access control, incident management, and security risk assessment.
