TAAS College, a reputable co-educational institution established in the Islamic tradition in Ibadan, is currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Auxiliary Nurse / Sanitation Officer to join our vibrant school community. In this dual role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the health, safety, and overall well-being of our students and staff by maintaining high standards of medical care and campus hygiene.
Key Responsibilities- Provide prompt first aid and basic medical care to students and staff during illness or emergencies.
- Monitor students health conditions closely and administer approved medications when necessary.
- Maintain a clean, fully functional school clinic with adequate medical supplies and inventory.
- Keep accurate, confidential health records and detailed incident reports for administrative review.
- Promote health, safety, and sanitation awareness across the school community.
- Enforce strict hygiene practices to ensure a safe and conducive learning environment.
- Possession of relevant nursing or healthcare qualifications and certifications.
- 4 to 7 years of relevant work experience as an Auxiliary Nurse or in a similar healthcare support role.
- Proven ability to respond calmly and effectively to medical emergencies.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and record-keeping skills.
- Comprehensive knowledge of health, safety, and sanitation standards in an educational setting.
- Must be responsible, compassionate, and capable of working with minimal supervision.
