About the Role

We are currently seeking a compassionate and diligent Auxiliary Nurse to provide high-quality patient care and support our healthcare initiatives across Nigeria. In this role, you will work closely with supervising nurses and medical staff to ensure patients receive exceptional, empathetic, and professional care in a clean, safe environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Checking and recording patients’ vital signs, including temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure accurately.
  • Observing patients closely and reporting any sudden changes in their physical or mental condition to the supervising nurse.
  • Assisting patients with mobility, positioning, and safe transfers within the facility.
  • Maintaining the cleanliness, hygiene, and overall comfort of patients and their immediate environment.
  • Assisting registered nurses with basic medical procedures and treatments as directed and within the scope of practice.
  • Providing basic wound care and dressing assistance in accordance with professional training guidelines.
  • Collecting and documenting patient information accurately in medical logs and records.
  • Supporting medication administration strictly under appropriate supervision and in compliance with local regulations.

Qualifications
  • Minimum of an Auxiliary Nursing certificate or relevant healthcare training from a recognized institution.
  • Proven experience working in a hospital, clinic, or corporate health environment.
  • Strong understanding of basic nursing procedures, patient safety protocols, and hygiene standards.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and empathy skills when dealing with patients and families.
  • Ability to remain calm and efficient in fast-paced healthcare settings.
  • Valid certification and good standing within the Nigerian healthcare sector.
