We are currently recruiting a dedicated and professional Optometrist to join our healthcare team in Kaduna. In this vital role, you will deliver top-tier eye-care services, conduct thorough clinical assessments, and contribute significantly to the effective daily operations of our healthcare facility, ensuring optimal visual health outcomes for all patients.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive eye examinations and accurately assess visual function.
- Diagnose and manage refractive errors and common ocular conditions, making timely referrals when necessary.
- Prescribe and oversee optical and therapeutic management plans within the appropriate scope of practice.
- Maintain precise, confidential, and up-to-date clinical records for all patients.
- Communicate effectively with patients, providing clear guidance on eye health and treatment options.
- Collaborate seamlessly within a multidisciplinary healthcare team to deliver holistic patient care.
- Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from a recognized and accredited institution.
- Successful completion of the required national internship and NYSC, or possession of a valid exemption certificate.
- Minimum of 1 year of post-registration or post-internship experience in active optometry practice (newly registered practitioners may be considered).
- Strong working knowledge of optometric assessment and clinical eye care.
