About the Role

In this position, you will drive operational excellence, champion safety standards, and support cutting-edge FMCG manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform timely and high-quality repairs on all bottling and utilities equipment in the event of electrical or automation issues.
  • Ensure compliance with plant automation operating procedures, safety policies, and industry standards.
  • Support project implementation by adhering to automation requirements for new and existing plant initiatives.
  • Utilize condition monitoring tools to assess equipment health and develop corrective action plans.
  • Maintain optimal inventory of essential automation parts and establish appropriate reorder levels.
  • Conduct root cause analysis for equipment non-conformances and implement permanent solutions.
  • Oversee maintenance contracts for inspection and coding machines to guarantee service level agreements.
  • Perform routine audits on electrical controls and maintain up-to-date plant electrical documentation.
  • Assess technical skills gaps among automation technicians and coordinate targeted training programs.
  • Contribute to maintenance budgeting and operational planning for long-term plant productivity and cost efficiency.
Qualifications
  • B.Sc. or HND in Electrical, Electronics, or Automation Engineering.
  • Minimum of 5 years of hands-on automation experience within a manufacturing or FMCG environment.
  • Proficiency in SAP, Siemens PLCs, Danfoss, Omron, sensors, and advanced PLC programming.
  • Demonstrated experience in project execution, including line commissioning and annual maintenance planning.
  • Strong understanding of financial impacts, operational planning, and functional sustainability.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and people management skills with a commitment to health and safety policies.
