About the Role
Buckler Ordnance Systems Limited is a leading Nigerian defense solutions provider specializing in the manufacturing of civilian armored vehicles, as well as the design and prototyping of military vehicles and ordnance equipment. We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Auto Mechanic to join our dynamic technical team and play a critical role in maintaining our specialized fleet.
Key Responsibilities- Perform comprehensive diagnostic evaluations and repairs on armored and specialized vehicles to ensure optimal functionality.
- Execute routine maintenance and service tasks meticulously to guarantee peak operational performance in the field.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex mechanical and electrical issues with high precision and efficiency.
- Collaborate closely with engineering and technical teams to address vehicle performance concerns and implement solutions.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of all service, maintenance, and repair activities conducted.
- Adhere strictly to workplace safety protocols, quality standards, and industry best practices at all times.
- Minimum of an SSCE qualification from a recognized institution.
- 5 to 10 years of practical, hands-on experience as an Auto Mechanic, focusing on advanced, heavy-duty, or specialized vehicles.
- Proven expertise in modern automotive diagnostic tools and advanced repair techniques.
- Strong understanding of intricate mechanical and electrical systems found in high-performance or armored vehicles.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities, high attention to detail, and a commitment to quality.
- Relevant professional certifications or specialized training in automotive technology will be an added advantage.
