About the Role
Greywood Hotels & Apartments, situated in a serene and well-secured environment, is currently seeking a skilled, reliable, and experienced Auto Maintenance Personnel to join our dedicated team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the routine inspection, servicing, troubleshooting, and repair of company vehicles to ensure they remain safe, reliable, and roadworthy for our daily operations.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct regular inspections of company vehicles to identify mechanical faults and maintenance needs promptly.
- Perform routine servicing, including oil changes, filter replacement, lubrication, and basic engine maintenance.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and other vehicle-related faults effectively.
- Inspect and maintain braking systems, suspension, steering, tyres, batteries, and other vital vehicle components.
- Carry out preventive maintenance to reduce vehicle breakdowns and extend overall vehicle lifespan.
- Respond promptly to vehicle breakdowns and emergency maintenance requests across various locations.
- Maintain accurate logs and records of vehicle repairs, servicing, parts replaced, and maintenance schedules.
- Liaise with approved mechanics, spare-parts suppliers, and external service providers for specialized repairs.
- Ensure all company vehicles meet applicable safety and Nigerian roadworthiness requirements.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workshop while adhering to proper automotive waste disposal standards.
- Possession of an NCE, OND, or HND in a relevant mechanical or technical discipline.
- Minimum of 1 to 2 years of hands-on professional experience in automotive maintenance and repair.
- Strong technical knowledge of vehicle systems, diagnostic equipment, and preventive maintenance.
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
