About the Role
Peace Mass Transit, a leading inter-city transport service company in Nigeria, is looking for a dedicated and skilled Auto Electrician to join our dynamic maintenance team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring our extensive fleet of vehicles remains in optimal mechanical and electrical condition, directly contributing to safe, reliable, and comfortable travel for our passengers nationwide.
Key Responsibilities- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair complex electrical issues in commercial and transport vehicles.
- Inspect, maintain, and replace vehicle batteries, starters, and alternators.
- Conduct routine electrical system checkups to prevent sudden mechanical failures on transit routes.
- Repair wiring harnesses, lighting systems, dashboard gauges, and other vehicular electrical components.
- Collaborate with the broader mechanical workshop team to ensure timely vehicle servicing and turnaround.
- Adhere strictly to company safety protocols and industry standards while handling electrical equipment.
- Minimum of Primary School Leaving Certificate or WAEC.
- Must be 25 years of age or older.
- Must possess a valid Certificate of Apprenticeship or relevant Vocational Training in auto electrical work.
- Demonstrated hands-on understanding of automotive batteries, starter motors, and alternators.
- Must be physically fit and capable of handling the physical demands of vehicle maintenance.
