About the Role
PZ Cussons Nigeria Plc is part of a renowned multinational consumer goods business manufacturing and distributing some of the best loved brands across the country. We are currently looking for a dedicated and proactive Electrical Technician to join our dynamic team and ensure the seamless operation of our production facilities.
Key Responsibilities- Address and resolve all electrical breakdowns promptly during your assigned shift to minimize downtime.
- Conduct effective shift handovers by liaising with incoming and outgoing technicians regarding plant status.
- Supervise, direct, and ensure maximum utilization of electrical team members.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety in the workplace at all times.
- Collaborate closely with day-shift electrical technicians and the Electrical Engineer.
- Provide on-the-job training, mentorship, and guidance to subordinate staff.
- Oversee the control, discipline, and performance appraisal of junior technical personnel.
- Communicate effectively with other supervisors on organizational matters and advise management on modern developments within your area of expertise.
- Execute any other ad-hoc engineering assignments as required by management.
- Minimum of an Ordinary National Diploma (OND) or City & Guilds in Electrical Engineering or a related technical discipline.
- Proven hands-on experience as an electrical technician within a manufacturing or fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) environment.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills for industrial electrical systems.
