About the Role
Reddington Hospital, a leading multi-specialist healthcare provider in Victoria Island, Lagos, is seeking a qualified and dynamic Auditor to join our growing team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining financial integrity, evaluating internal controls, and ensuring operational efficiency across our advanced medical facility. You will work closely with management to mitigate risks and uphold the highest standards of accountability in Nigeria's healthcare sector.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct routine and ad-hoc audits of hospital departments, financial operations, and business processes to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Review financial records, transactions, and supporting documents to verify adherence to established policies and regulatory standards.
- Evaluate existing internal controls, identify potential operational and financial risks, and propose effective corrective actions.
- Prepare clear, comprehensive, and detailed audit reports highlighting findings, risk exposures, and actionable recommendations.
- Monitor the implementation of audit recommendations and assist management in tracking corrective actions to completion.
- Support internal investigations regarding financial irregularities, control weaknesses, and policy violations as required.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related business discipline.
- Professional certification such as ACA, ACCA, or CIA is a distinct advantage.
- Minimum of 2 to 3 years of relevant auditing experience, preferably within a hospital, healthcare, or corporate environment.
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards, internal control frameworks, and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent analytical, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
