About the Role
The People Practice is partnering with a prestigious multi-disciplinary advisory firm with extensive experience in the Nigerian infrastructure sector to recruit an experienced Finance and Investment Research Analyst. In this dynamic role, you will support critical investment decisions through deep financial analysis, market research, and comprehensive valuation work, helping shape portfolio strategies across emerging markets.
Key Responsibilities- Develop robust financial models to evaluate ROI, capital investments, and resource allocation across business units.
- Conduct comprehensive primary and secondary market research to analyze industry trends, competitive landscapes, and macroeconomic indicators.
- Evaluate public and private market investment opportunities by drafting investment memos, industry briefs, and pitch materials.
- Monitor portfolio performance, perform risk-return analyses, and identify cost-saving initiatives.
- Participate in management calls, investor meetings, and due diligence processes while collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.
- Translate complex data into actionable insights to support long-range planning, financial forecasting, and strategic decision-making.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
- 3 to 5 years of proven experience in corporate finance, investment banking, equity analysis, or infrastructure finance.
- Advanced qualifications such as CFA Level 1, an MBA, or a relevant Master's degree are strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated expertise in financial modeling, budgeting tools, and macroeconomic frameworks within African or emerging markets.
