We are currently seeking a motivated Audit & Tax Articleship Trainee to embark on an enriching career journey within our dynamic firm.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in conducting statutory, internal, tax, and compliance audits for diverse clients.
- Verify financial transactions, supporting documents, and accounting records accurately.
- Prepare comprehensive audit working papers, schedules, and documentation.
- Perform vouching, verification, and reconciliation of various accounts.
- Coordinate directly with clients to obtain audit-related information and professional clarifications.
- Support senior auditors in field audits and special assignment projects.
- Minimum of O’Level results with credits in at least five subjects, including English Language and Mathematics.
- Active registration as a Student with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and adherence to strict deadlines.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Hands-on practical experience in modern audit procedures and financial reporting standards.
- Valuable exposure to various industries and complex business processes.
- Deep understanding of regulatory compliance and Nigerian tax laws.
- Direct mentorship from seasoned professionals with Big 4 audit backgrounds.
