About the Role

We are currently seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented, and experienced Audit Officer to join our dynamic team at our Head Office in Surulere, Lagos State. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with internal control procedures, monitoring inventory movements, and safeguarding company assets to support our continued growth and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct routine internal audits to ensure strict compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
- Prepare accurate and timely audit reports, highlighting key findings and actionable recommendations for management.
- Verify and reconcile receivables, stock movements, supplies, and comprehensive inventory records.
- Perform daily operational checks on goods received, stock transfers, deliveries, and general supplies.
- Ensure proper documentation and maintenance of audit records, both electronically and manually.
- Monitor internal controls continuously to safeguard company assets and minimize operational risks.
- Collaborate effectively with Sales, Marketing, Accounts, and Stores departments to ensure accurate reporting.
- Identify process gaps and recommend strategic improvements to strengthen overall internal controls.
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- 1 to 3 years of relevant professional experience in auditing, accounting, or internal control.
- Sound knowledge of auditing principles, accounting standards, and internal control practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite with advanced skills in Excel for data analysis.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and investigative skills with exceptional attention to detail.
