Mewar International University (MIU) Nigeria, established in 2021, is West Africa's premier institution bridging Indian academic excellence with Nigeria's dynamic industrial landscape. Located on a sprawling campus in Masaka, Nasarawa State—strategically positioned along the Federal Capital Territory-Abuja corridor—we are seeking an exceptional Associate Professor in Software Engineering to join our distinguished faculty.
We do not simply award degrees; we architect the next generation of global IT professionals, data engineers, and enterprise software leaders through rigorous, research-driven pedagogy.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality instruction in software engineering and related disciplines
- Conduct cutting-edge research and publish in peer-reviewed scholarly journals
- Mentor and supervise graduate and undergraduate students
- Contribute to curriculum development and academic program enhancement
- Participate in university governance and departmental committees
- Collaborate with international academic and industry partners
- Ph.D. in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a closely related discipline
- Minimum 8 years of teaching, research, and practical experience in a university environment
- At least 10 published scholarly journal articles demonstrating research excellence
- Strong track record of academic leadership and innovation
- Appointment subject to favorable external assessment
