Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging lectures, tutorials, and practical sessions in Pharmacology to undergraduate and postgraduate medical students.
- Conduct high-impact, peer-reviewed research and contribute significantly to the academic standing of the department.
- Supervise student research projects, theses, and clinical training components where applicable.
- Provide academic mentorship and career guidance to students within the Faculty of Basic Clinical Sciences.
- Participate actively in curriculum development, departmental meetings, and university-wide committees.
- Engage in community service and uphold the core values and standards of Margaret Lawrence University.
- Possession of an MBBS or BDS as a first degree from a recognized institution.
- A relevant postgraduate qualification appropriate to the rank of Associate Professor or Reader.
- Demonstrated teaching, research, clinical, and scholarly experience commensurate with the applied rank.
- A strong portfolio of publications in reputable peer-reviewed journals.
- Active registration with the relevant professional regulatory body alongside a valid practising licence.
- Proven capacity for effective teaching, academic mentorship, and institutional service.
