Established in 2022 and operating across modern campuses in Delta State and Abuja, we are expanding our academic footprint and invite suitably qualified, dynamic, and scholarly individuals to join our esteemed faculty. We are currently seeking a passionate and experienced academic leader to take on the role of Associate Professor/Reader in the Department of Nursing Science within the Faculty of Allied Health Sciences.
Key Responsibilities- Provide exemplary academic leadership in teaching, research, and community service within the Department of Nursing Science.
- Develop, update, and deliver comprehensive undergraduate and postgraduate nursing curricula in line with National Universities Commission (NUC) and Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN) standards.
- Supervise undergraduate and postgraduate student research projects, dissertations, and theses.
- Conduct high-impact, peer-reviewed research and publish scholarly articles in reputable local and international journals.
- Participate actively in curriculum review, departmental administration, quality assurance, and faculty meetings.
- Mentor junior academic staff and contribute to the overall academic growth and institutional development of the university.
- Possess a relevant first degree and a Master's degree in Nursing Science from a recognized, accredited university.
- Must hold a Ph.D. in Nursing Science or a closely related discipline.
- Possess current registration and a valid practicing license with the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN).
- Demonstrate a strong track record of teaching, research, clinical practice, and administrative experience commensurate with the rank of an Associate Professor/Reader.
- Provide robust evidence of scholarly publications in reputable peer-reviewed academic journals.
- Possess excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills suited for a multidisciplinary academic environment.
