Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver engaging lectures, practical sessions, and tutorials to undergraduate and postgraduate medical students within the Department of Histopathology.
  • Conduct high-impact, peer-reviewed research and contribute to the advancement of medical science and pathology.
  • Provide comprehensive academic mentorship, career guidance, and support to students and junior faculty members.
  • Participate actively in curriculum development, departmental administration, and university committees.
  • Engage in clinical service delivery and contribute to institutional outreach programs where applicable.
  • Maintain active involvement in academic service and foster professional partnerships with industry stakeholders.

Qualifications
  • Possession of an MBBS or BDS degree from a recognized and accredited institution.
  • A relevant postgraduate professional fellowship or academic qualification appropriate for the rank of Associate Professor or Reader.
  • Extensive and verifiable teaching, research, clinical, and scholarly experience commensurate with the applied rank.
  • A robust portfolio of published articles in reputable, peer-reviewed local and international journals.
  • Current registration with the relevant professional regulatory body alongside a valid, up-to-date practising licence.
  • Demonstrated capacity for exceptional teaching, academic leadership, and effective student mentorship.
