Margaret Lawrence University (MLU), a premier private tertiary institution established in 2022, is seeking a dynamic and accomplished academic leader for the position of Associate Professor or Reader in the Department of Histopathology, Faculty of Basic Clinical Sciences. Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging lectures, practical sessions, and tutorials to undergraduate and postgraduate medical students within the Department of Histopathology.
- Conduct high-impact, peer-reviewed research and contribute to the advancement of medical science and pathology.
- Provide comprehensive academic mentorship, career guidance, and support to students and junior faculty members.
- Participate actively in curriculum development, departmental administration, and university committees.
- Engage in clinical service delivery and contribute to institutional outreach programs where applicable.
- Maintain active involvement in academic service and foster professional partnerships with industry stakeholders.
- Possession of an MBBS or BDS degree from a recognized and accredited institution.
- A relevant postgraduate professional fellowship or academic qualification appropriate for the rank of Associate Professor or Reader.
- Extensive and verifiable teaching, research, clinical, and scholarly experience commensurate with the applied rank.
- A robust portfolio of published articles in reputable, peer-reviewed local and international journals.
- Current registration with the relevant professional regulatory body alongside a valid, up-to-date practising licence.
