About the Role
Mewar International University (MIU) Nigeria, established in 2021, is West Africa's premier institution and the first Indian university on the African continent. Located in Masaka, Nasarawa State, along the Federal Capital Territory-Abuja corridor, MIU combines India's elite technological and analytical heritage with Nigeria's dynamic industrial demands. Fully approved by the Federal Executive Council and accredited by the National Universities Commission (NUC), we are seeking exceptional academics to join our growing Political Science department.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality undergraduate and postgraduate lectures in political science disciplines
- Conduct original, publishable research contributing to academic knowledge and institutional reputation
- Mentor and supervise student research projects and dissertations
- Participate actively in curriculum development and academic program enhancement
- Engage in scholarly publications in peer-reviewed journals
- Contribute to departmental and university governance and strategic initiatives
- Foster international academic collaborations and partnerships
- Ph.D. in Political Science or closely related discipline
- Minimum 10 scholarly publications in reputable peer-reviewed journals
- At least 8 years of teaching, research, and university-level experience
