Mewar International University (MIU) Nigeria invites accomplished academics to join our Faculty as an Associate Professor in Physics with Electronics. Established in 2021, MIU stands as West Africa's landmark institution and the first Indian university on the African continent. Located on a sprawling campus in Masaka, Nasarawa State—strategically positioned along the FCT-Abuja corridor—we are fully approved by the Federal Executive Council and accredited by the National Universities Commission (NUC). As an Associate Professor, you will drive academic excellence through innovative teaching methodologies, cutting-edge research initiatives, and mentorship of emerging scholars. You'll contribute to curriculum development that bridges Indian academic heritage with Nigerian industrial demands, ensuring our students remain globally competitive.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver comprehensive lectures and seminars in Physics and Electronics to undergraduate and postgraduate students
- Conduct original research and publish findings in reputable scholarly journals
- Mentor junior faculty members and guide student research projects
- Develop and refine curriculum aligned with international academic standards
- Participate actively in departmental committees and institutional governance
- Establish collaborations with national and international research institutions
- Ph.D. in Physics, Electronics, or a closely related discipline
- Minimum 10 publications in peer-reviewed scholarly journals
- At least 8 years of demonstrated teaching, research, and professional experience in a university setting
- Strong track record of academic excellence and research productivity
- Commitment to internationalization and quality assurance in higher education
