Key Responsibilities- Design and deliver comprehensive lectures, tutorials, workshops, and seminars to undergraduate and postgraduate students
- Develop innovative curricula and course materials adaptable across multiple digital and traditional platforms
- Conduct original research and publish in reputable peer-reviewed journals while securing research funding
- Supervise undergraduate and postgraduate research projects and thesis work
- Collaborate with academic colleagues to advance pedagogical practices and expand disciplinary knowledge
- Assess student performance through examinations, assignments, and continuous evaluation
- Participate actively in departmental meetings, academic conferences, and professional development initiatives
- Mentor students and junior staff while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism
- Ph.D. in Petroleum Engineering, Gas Engineering, or closely related discipline
- Reader rank or equivalent with proven excellence in teaching, research, and academic administration
- Substantial track record of publications in high-impact international journals
- Demonstrated experience supervising both undergraduate and postgraduate students
- Active affiliation with recognized professional engineering bodies
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office and video conferencing platforms such as Microsoft Teams
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills with strong organizational abilities
