Federal University Lafia invites applications from suitably qualified and dynamic academics for the position of Associate Professor in Nutrition and Dietetics within the Faculty of Radiography and Applied Health Science. Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging, high-quality undergraduate and postgraduate lectures in Nutrition and Dietetics.
- Supervise undergraduate, Masters, and Ph.D. research projects to foster academic rigor and innovation.
- Conduct impactful, peer-reviewed research and publish findings in reputable national and international journals.
- Participate in curriculum development, departmental administration, and academic committee duties.
- Engage in community outreach programs and collaborative partnerships to promote public health and nutritional awareness.
- Must currently hold the rank of Associate Professor or be a senior academic ready for progression.
- Possess a Ph.D. in Nutrition and Dietetics or a closely related relevant field from a recognized institution.
- Demonstrate a strong portfolio of teaching experience within a recognized university setting.
- Must have a minimum of fifteen (15) scholarly publications in reputable international and national peer-reviewed journals.
- Proven track record of successfully supervising postgraduate students at both Masters and Ph.D. levels.
