We are currently seeking a dynamic and accomplished Associate Professor to join our esteemed College of Nursing Science in Benin City, Edo State.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging undergraduate and postgraduate lectures in Mental Health and Psychiatric Nursing.
- Supervise undergraduate and graduate research projects, including theses and dissertations.
- Conduct high-impact, peer-reviewed research and contribute significantly to academic literature.
- Provide visionary academic leadership, mentoring junior faculty and participating in curriculum development.
- Engage in departmental and university-wide administrative duties, committees, and community service initiatives.
- Must possess a PhD in Mental Health and Psychiatric Nursing or a closely related relevant discipline.
- Minimum of eight (8) years of cognate university teaching and research experience.
- A robust portfolio of peer-reviewed publications in reputable local and international journals.
- Proven capacity for effective postgraduate teaching, supervision, and academic leadership.
- Current professional registration and a valid practicing license with relevant nursing authorities.
- Demonstrated ICT proficiency with strong communication, interpersonal, and pedagogical skills.
