We are recruiting an exceptional Associate Professor of Law to join our expanding Faculty of Law. This position offers the opportunity to lead curriculum development, mentor emerging legal scholars, and contribute to cutting-edge research that addresses contemporary African legal challenges. You will work within a vibrant, internationally-minded academic community dedicated to producing world-class legal professionals equipped for global practice.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality instruction in law courses at undergraduate and postgraduate levels
- Conduct independent and collaborative research in your area of specialization
- Publish scholarly work in peer-reviewed journals and contribute to academic discourse
- Mentor junior faculty and postgraduate research students
- Participate actively in faculty meetings and university governance
- Develop innovative pedagogical approaches aligned with international standards
- Ph.D. in Law or relevant discipline
- Minimum 10 peer-reviewed scholarly journal publications
- At least 8 years of teaching, research, and university-level experience
- Strong track record of academic excellence and professional achievement
- Demonstrated commitment to research and knowledge advancement
