Wellspring University, a premier private institution founded on Christian ethics and principles, is seeking a dynamic and accomplished academic for the position of Associate Professor in Intelligence and Security Studies within the Faculty of Social and Management Sciences. Key Responsibilities- Provide academic leadership in the Department of Intelligence and Security Studies through innovative teaching and curriculum development.
- Engage in high-impact research and publish scholarly articles in reputable peer-reviewed local and international journals.
- Supervise undergraduate and postgraduate (Master's and PhD) student research projects and dissertations.
- Mentor junior academic staff and contribute to departmental administrative duties and faculty committees.
- Foster strategic partnerships with security agencies, industry stakeholders, and international academic institutions.
- Must possess a PhD in Intelligence and Security Studies, Criminology, Security Management, or a closely related relevant discipline.
- Minimum of eight (8) years of cognate university teaching, research, and administrative experience.
- A robust and verifiable portfolio of peer-reviewed publications in high-ranking academic journals.
- Demonstrated capacity and proven experience in postgraduate teaching and thesis supervision.
- Must be ICT proficient with excellent communication, interpersonal, and academic leadership skills.
