Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver engaging lectures, seminars, and practical training for undergraduate and postgraduate students in Insurance and related management sciences.
  • Supervise undergraduate and postgraduate research theses, dissertations, and student projects.
  • Conduct high-impact research and publish scholarly articles in reputable peer-reviewed local and international journals.
  • Contribute significantly to curriculum development, course design, and academic program evaluations within the department.
  • Participate actively in departmental, faculty, and university-wide committees, administrative duties, and community service initiatives.
  • Mentor junior academic staff and foster a collaborative, intellectually stimulating learning environment.

Qualifications
  • Must hold a PhD in Insurance, Risk Management, or a closely related relevant field from a recognized and accredited university.
  • Must possess a First Degree with a minimum of a Second-Class Upper Division, or a Second-Class Lower Division with a PhD.
  • Demonstrated substantial years of tertiary-level teaching, academic research, and extensive peer-reviewed publications commensurate with the rank of an Associate Professor.
  • Strong academic leadership skills with a proven track record of successful student mentorship and grant acquisition.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
