We are currently seeking a dynamic and academically distinguished Associate Professor of Information Technology to join our vibrant Faculty of Science and Computing. Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging, high-quality undergraduate and postgraduate lectures in Information Technology and related computing disciplines.
- Supervise undergraduate and graduate research projects, theses, and dissertations.
- Conduct impactful, peer-reviewed research and actively contribute to the university's academic reputation through publications.
- Participate in curriculum development, departmental administration, and faculty meetings.
- Mentor junior academic staff and foster a culture of academic rigor and integrity.
- Engage in community service and institutional advancement initiatives aligned with the university's mission.
- Hold a PhD in Information Technology or a closely related relevant field from a recognized institution.
- Minimum of 2 years of continuous academic experience as a Senior Lecturer.
- Demonstrate a robust publication record with at least 20 peer-reviewed journal publications in reputable outlets.
- Must include a minimum of 4 publications indexed in either Scopus or Web of Science.
- Proven ICT proficiency with demonstrable competence in digital tools and modern teaching platforms.
- Active membership in relevant professional bodies.
- Possession of a mandatory NYSC discharge or exemption certificate.
